Cult Lab Foundation
Our mission is to support the development and promotion of culture, spiritual values, civil society, and education in Bulgaria. We strive to present and promote Bulgarian art and culture, and to contribute to the development of national, regional, and local strategies and programs that support cultural initiatives across the country. We are dedicated to fostering the artistic and professional growth of creators by providing comprehensive support for their creative work and public appearances across various fields of the arts.
From Sofia to bologna
Our Impact So Far
Over the past three years, our team has organized the presentation of Bulgarian children’s books and illustration at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy—one of the most prestigious book forums in the world.
As both organizer and creative driver, we developed Bulgarian exhibition stands featuring contemporary children’s books and created a space for meetings between Bulgarian and international publishers and literary agents.
We also produced the first exhibitions of Bulgarian illustrators, presenting their work to the global cultural community.
In addition, we organized the first Bulgarian professional events on the fair’s stages, featuring experts from Bulgaria, as well as an illustration masterclass for the international professional audience.
